FRANCOIS DUJARDIN
Born in Rueil in 1967, has early demonstrated a particular interest for traditional music that brought him attending musicology’s courses at the university of Aix-en-Provence, obtaining the graduating. At the same time he achieved the Diplome d’Etat on galoubet and provencal traditional music and the Diplome d’Etat on fifre and traditional music of Nice at National Conservatory of Rodez. His musical activity begins in the region near Grasse and Vence, participating in concerts, performances and animations organized by different cultural associations. Then he become a specialist of provencal traditional music of North Italy and South-West of France, taking part in some piedmontese ensemble for different tours in Europe and Canada. Since 1990 he is a traditional music teacher at Ecole Départementale de Musique des Alpes-Maritimes of Nice and at the Music Conservatory of Grasse. In addition to galoubet and fifre Dujardin also plays a particular transverse flute of provencal area and a diatonic hand organ.
SILVANO RODI
Qualified harpsichordist, organist and organ composition at the Conservatory “N.Paganini” of Genova, under the direction of Alda Bellasich-Ghersi and Attilio Baronti. In 1986 he obtained at the Conservatoire National Regional Pierre Cochereau of Nice (France), the Premiere Prix d’Orgue becoming a specialist with Rene Saorgin in interpretation of French baroque music. Besides he attended Perfecting Courses with Daniel Roth and Gaston Litaize in Cremona, with Luis Gonzales Uriol and Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini at Accademia di musica per Organo of Pistoia and with Reinhard Jaud in Tortona. Regular organist of Saint Devote Church in the principality of Monaco and honorary organist of San Giovanni B. in Imperia, he had organ recitals in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, England, Ireland, Czech republic, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Esthonia and Principality of Monaco. As a cymbalist and organist, he takes part of Collegium Musicum Alpazur an ensemble that studies the interpretation of the ancient music through the use of original instruments or vintage copies. He is onorary supervisor at the Cultural Heritage Government and consultant for the protection and restoration of ancient organ for Commissione Arte Sacra ofVentimiglia-Sanremo’s Diocese. He made sure and published over 30 monographs related to organ restoration, as for example the volume Gli antichi organi della Diocesi di Ventimiglia-Sanremo contributing to indexing of organ heritage of Liguria. Recently he recorded on CD Musica italiana per organo su organi storici della Provincia di Imperia (Casa Musicale Eco di Monza), Organi storici della Valle Roya e Bevera (Ligia Digital – harmonia Mundi), Musica del Rinascimento e barocco per flauto di Pan e organo (VDE – Gallo), Flutes Joyeuses.
