PIETRO TAGLIAFERRI
Pietro Tagliaferri graduated from the G. Nicolini Conservatory of Piacenza with the highest grades, studying clarinet with G. Parmigiani. He continued his studies at the Chigiana Musical Academy of Siena, earning his Diploma di Merito, and at the International Academy of Biella under the tutelage of Anthony Pay. He also earned a degree in musicology summa cum laude at the School of Musical Paleography and Philology of Cremona. Winner of numerous national and international competitions, he has an intense schedule of concerts both as soloist and chamber musician in Italy and abroad. The following composers have written works expressly for him: G. Zanaboni, G. Cataldo, M. Berzolla, N. Campogrande, P. Marrone, G. Donati, K. De Pastel, L. Polato, S. Amato, G. Salvatori. He has made numerous recordings for Fonit Cetra, Rusty Records, Millenio, Bottega Discantica, Stradivarius, and Cdpm Lions Records and has recorded for the radio on Rai Radiouno. From an early age, he also dedicated himself to the study of the saxophone, distinguishing himself with numerous groups, both classical and jazz, among which Saxensemble and the project Riverberi, first with Margherita Sciddurlo and presently with Stefano Pellini, with which he received notable success from the press and public alike. He carries out research on behalf of the Monteverdi Foundation of Cremona and the San Cristoforo Diocesan Institute for Sacred Music of Piacenza. From 1991-2005 he was musical consultant for Mediaset channels, in particular for the concerts of the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala, and he developed an intense activity as producer and sound engineer in the recording industry. From 2005, Pietro Tagliaferri dedicates himself to direction. In 2006 he is entrusted with the direction of “Mozart Ways 2006”, eleven concerts produced by Multigram Communications, with artists of the highest calibre such as Thiollier, Prosseda, Cominati, Giordano, Nosé, Kravtchenko, and Romanosky, transmitted on the “Classical” channel of SKY, beginning in October 2007. In April 2008, Mediaset entrusts him with the direction of Zubin Mehta’s concert with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. Currently, he is director and producer of the Tv recordings of the Philarmonic Orchestra of La Scala under Musicom s.r.l. Having won the ministerial competition of exams and merits, he teaches clarinet at the Luca Marenzio Conservatory of Brescia, at the Darfo campus, where he is also responsible for the artistic production.

STEFANO PELLINI
Born in Modena, he got a diploma with full marks under the guide of Alfonso Gaddi at Conservatorio Statale di Musica in Mantova, gaining two scholarships. Then he completed his studies in Discipline Musicali (thesis about “The organ building in Modena: history, problems, perspective) and Didattica della Musica (thesis about “Music leaves a sign. For a didactic of the notations between Middle Age and 20th century”), both with full marks and laude. He perfected his studies under the guide of L. F. Tagliavini, M. Torrent, A. Marcon, P. Westerbrink, B. Leighton, K. Schnorr, O. Mischiatti. Lover of organ building, he devotes himself for the preservation of ancient instruments in Modena, promoting restorations and improvements of organs. He launched restorations of important historic instruments. Charter member of Associazione Amici dell’Organo “J.S.Bach” in Modena, he works together on the organization and artistic direction of the Festival Armonie fra Musica ed Architettura promoted by the Province of Modena, and of the Modena Organ Festival. Besides he cooperates with numerous soloists in different groups and in particular with Pietro Tagliaferri (soprano sax), with whom he shares Progetto Riverberi since 2009. In February 2001 he was nominated main organist of All Saints’ Chuch (already Anglican Church) in Sanremo, where he plays the symphonic organ built by A.H.Gern (pupil of A. Cavaillé-Coll) in Santa Maria degli Assi in Modena, of which he has promoted the restoration. He teaches Organ at Istituto Diocesano di Musica Sacra of the Diocese of Modena-Nonantola since 2005. Since 2007 he teaches Organ and Organ Composition at Liceo Musicale “A.Masini” in Forlì. Nowadays he is teacher of Complementary Organ and Gregorian Chant at Istituto Pareggiato di Studi Musicali “Vecchi-Tonelli” in Modena. He performs in many European countries and in Japan.
